Elections


The Referendum and Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Elks Lodge, 37 Fourth Street, Old Town ME. The Polls will be open from
7am – 8pm.

Absentee ballots will be available beginning early October 2021.  Voters may now apply for an absentee ballot. The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is Thursday, October 28, 2021. All requests will be filled as soon as we receive the ballots.  Residents are encouraged to update their voter registration information or register to vote with the City Clerk's office prior to Election Day to help reduce lines.
 


City Elections coincide with the State's General Election held on the first Tuesday of November every year, unless a city Special Election is called.
Old Town has two (2) voting districts and are located as follows:
