Garbage is collected weekly on Thursdays and Fridays. Thursday collection is generalized to the south side of the City (Main Street, Brunswick Street and connecting side streets.) Friday is dedicated to the north side of the City (Center Street, Stillwater Avenue, Route 43 and adjacent side streets). Recycling is picked up bi-weekly on your usual garbage pick-up day. pick-up days, please see the link below for the schedule. The City contracts with a private firm for this service. Questions regarding garbage NOT being picked up, or problems with trash pick-up in general, may be directed to Pine Tree at 848-7551.
